Troy Athletics Announces Basketball Promotions for Jan. 24, 25 and 27

TROY, Ala. – Troy athletics is excited to announce numerous promotions and giveaways for basketball games on Jan. 24, 25 and 27. Men's basketball welcomes Texas State on Jan. 24 before women's basketball invites Southern Miss on the 25th. The week culminates in Trojan Arena on Saturday, Jan. 27, forthe United in Cardinal doubleheader.
Wednesday, Jan. 24 – Texas State – 6 p.m.
Game Sponsor: Troy Pediatric Clinic
Theme: Coaches vs. Cancer Night (Suits and Sneakers) / Faculty and Staff Appreciation
Ticket Specials / Concession Deals
• To welcome back the men's basketball team, fans can enjoy pulled pork sandwiches from concessions.
• In honor of Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day, all faculty and staff are given one complimentary general admission ticket. Non-faculty and staff can also enjoy $5 general admission tickets.
In-game Promos
• The Vance Law Firm 3-Point Contest continues into the semifinal round during halftime, where the winner moves on for a chance to win a scholarship from Vance Law Firm.
• Additionally, coaches will wear outfits and sneakers in honor of Coaches vs. Cancer Night – a moment of silence is scheduled before pregame for those affected by cancer.
• Halftime is jam-packed as SheBANG Dance will perform live at center court.
Giveaways
To celebrate the game, Troy athletics and Preston's collaborated to give free hot dogs to the first 250 students in attendance.
Thursday, Jan. 25 – Southern Miss – 6 p.m.

Ticket Specials / Concession Deals
• As part of the $2 Thursday theme, all general admission tickets are on sale for $2.
• The concession special for the game will include corn dogs located behind specialty stands in sections 110 and 111.
In-game Promos
• The semifinal round for the Vance Law Firm 3-Point Contest continues during halftime. Thursday's winner will matchup against the victor of Wednesday for the championship on Saturday.
Giveaways
Troy will partner with Goldfingers for the night, and the first 200 students in attendance will receive a complimentary chicken sandwich.
Saturday, Jan. 27 – Arkansas State / South Alabama – 2 p.m. / 4 p.m.

Theme: Letterwinners Day / Baseball and Softball Fan Day / United in Cardinal
Ticket Specials / Concession Deals
• Kid's Club members can receive a free general admission ticket with an ID.
• Fans have the opportunity to buy four reserved tickets for a total of just $40. These tickets will get you into both the women's and men's games.
Baseball / Softball Fan Day
The event will also celebrate Baseball & Softball Fan Day as both teams will be recognized during the men's game, and a free Fan Day poster signing will be held in the concourse between the doubleheaders.
In-game Promos
• The Vance Law Firm 3-Point Contest culminates into the championship round during pregame as the victor wins a scholarship from Vance Law Firm.
• Saturday also stands as the Greek Life Challenge Extra Point Game, with a large pep band in attendance.
• Starting approximately one hour before the women's game tips off, a free tailgate will be available for fans. The tailgate lasts until the men's basketball game tips off.
• During halftime, Troy athletics will take a trip to the past, celebrating all former Trojan letterwinners for men's and women's basketball.

For Saturday's United in Cardinal, Troy athletics is giving free cardinal Troy basketball t-shirts to the first 2,000 fans. Additionally, the first 1,000 will receive a cardinal and white shaker.
