Football Announces Kick Times for All Home Games

TROY, Ala. – With Sun Belt Football Media Day in the rearview mirror, the start of the 2023 football season is on the horizon. Troy Athletics announced Wednesday the kickoff times for all six of Troy's home football games as the Trojans look to defend their Sun Belt title.

Troy's first three home games of the season – Stephen. F. Austin (Sept. 2), James Madison (Sept. 16) and Western Kentucky (Sept. 23) – are slated for a 6 p.m. kick at The Vet. Homecoming against Arkansas State on Oct. 7 will kick off at 3 p.m., the Thursday-night "Battle for the Belt" showdown with South Alabama is slated for a 6:30 p.m. kick off on ESPN2 while Senior Day against Louisiana is set for 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 18. Kick times are subject to change due to the Sun Belt's television contract.

The Trojans were picked to repeat as Sun Belt Conference champions this week in the preseason coaches poll released on Monday. Seven players earned Preseason All-Sun Belt honors, the second-most in the league, led by Reddy Steward, Richard Jibunor and T.J. Jackson on the first team.

Troy is coming off a home season last year that saw the highest attended game (31,010) and highest attended season (25,611/game) in stadium history. The Trojans went undefeated at home (7-0) for the first time since 2009.
