MACON, Ga. – Troy shot its best round of the week and finished fourth at the Brickyard Collegiate, as play concluded Tuesday at the Brickyard Golf Club. ShaeLee Scarberry paced the Trojans with her fifth top-10 finish of the season.

Scarberry and Laura Fangmeyer both shot 2-over on the day to lead the Trojans on Tuesday. Scarberry opened her round with a birdie, made the turn even, and played the back nine at 2-over to finish in a four-way tie for sixth place. Fangmeyer climbed four spots into 31^st place following her best round of the week, which featured a birdie on No. 17.

Mercer won the team title by 19 shots over Incarnate Word, while Cincinnati jumped Troy for third place. Scarberry and Bruna Roqueta finished first and second in the field with a combined 5-under on the par-3 holes, while Scarberry's seven birdies were the fifth most in the field.

Alyssa Mercado and Katelynn Altese finished a stroke apart in 16^th and 17^th place, respectively, after shooting matching 77s on Tuesday. Mercado had two birdies on the day and shot 13-over for the week, while Altese ended on a high note closing her round with a birdie on the par-3 second.

Elisabeth Preus and Bruna Roqueta tied for 24^th place at 18-over par for the week, while Brinson Hall finished 38^th.

Troy quickly turns its attention to the Sun Belt Championship, which opens play Sunday at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
