Troy SBC Tournament Games & Fan Headquarters Announced

TROY, Ala. – Troy's men's and women's basketball teams are heading to Pensacola, Fla., next week for their respective Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournaments. The Troy men open play at 2 p.m. on Thursday, and the women play on Friday at 2 p.m.
The women enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed and received a double-bye into the quarterfinals, while the men are the No. 5 seed and earned a bye into the second round of the tournament.
Troy fans heading to Pensacola to cheer on both teams are invited to come to official Troy Fan Headquarters Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at O'Riley's Irish Pub Downtown, located at 321 S. Palafox Street. Additionally, Troy Athletics will hold a Basketball Social for all Trojan fans on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at The Fish House, 600 S. Barracks Street. Both events are sponsored by the Troy Alumni Association.
The Troy men square off against the winner between Arkansas State and Coastal Carolina in its opening round match up and will play at 2 p.m. on Saturday with a victory. Troy's women could play any of Georgia State, South Alabama or Old Dominion in its first game and would play at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday with a victory.
