Troy to Host Sun Belt Championship Game; Ticket Information Announced

TROY, Ala. – Troy will host the Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 2, at The Vet for a second straight year after securing the league's best conference record and winning the Sun Belt West Division title for a second consecutive year.

Troy will host App State or Coastal Carolina, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. The Trojans are in search of their league-leading eighth Sun Belt Conference title. The Trojans have won 21 of their last 23 games, including a victory over Coastal Carolina in the 2022 Sun Belt Championship Game.

"It is a privilege to host the Hercules Tires Sun Belt Championship Game and one we don't take lightly," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "Our amazing fans packed The Vet last year when we won the Sun Belt Championship, and we can't wait to see Trojan Nation show up again as we celebrate another historic Troy Football season."

NO COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS outside of Sun Belt Conference students are available for the Sun Belt Championship Game.

2023 Troy Football Season Packages DO NOT INCLUDE Sun Belt Championship Game tickets. Season Ticket Holders have until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, to guarantee their seat locations.

General admission and reserved seats not linked to a season ticket are available immediately.

Troy football season ticket holders must log into their season ticket holder account through TroyTrojans.com/MyAccount to secure their seats. Troy season ticket holders may also call the Troy Ticket Office at 334-670-3681 for help with their purchase.

-Troy University students will show their student ID at the student gate to gain admission to the game like a normal home athletic event. Students from all other Sun Belt schools must show their valid student ID at the Gate 1 ticket office to obtain a ticket to the game.

Troy season ticket holders with 2023 premium seats may purchase their tickets through their season ticket holder account online at TroyTrojans.com/MyAccount. Please also refer to the email address associated with your account for further messaging regarding your tickets. You will also be contacted directly, if you have not already been contacted, by a member of the Trojan Warrior Club staff.

Tailgating & Pregame Concert
Pregame festivities on Tailgate Terrace will continue to take place for fans of all ages to enjoy. The day will begin with the Kids Zone opening at 11 a.m. in the outfield of Riddle-Pace Field. Fans will also be able to enjoy the food trucks set up along University Avenue and POPulus will perform a free pregame concert from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Troy's traditional Trojan Walk will also take place prior to the game beginning at 12:45 p.m. in Tailgate Terrace.

Fans interested in reserving a tent on Tailgate Terrace may reach out to Jack Brown (jdbrown@troy.edu) to inquire about availability. The Troy University Alumni Association will also hold a tailgate at the Troy University Alumni House before the game.
