TROY, Ala. - Troy volleyball put its nine-match win streak to the test this weekend when it travels to ULM for a pair of matches at the Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The matches will be broadcast on ESPN+ and live stats will be available on TroyTrojans.com.   Â
Troy (10-8, 8-0 SBC) heads to Monroe with its best start to conference play in program history after sweeping Arkansas State at home. Additionally, Troy's nine-match win streak ties the longest in program history with two other squads (1994, 2022). Â
Janelle Stuempfig and Julia Brooks got the nod from the Sun Belt Conference on Tuesday as Setter of the week and Offensive player of the week. For Stuempfig, this is the third consecutive time she has been tabbed by the league. She dished out 86 assists, averaging 12.29 per set in the sweep of the Red Wolves. Meanwhile, Brooks recorded a .543 hitting clip over the weekend, where she tallied 28 kills, 17 on Friday and 11 on Sunday.    Â
The Trojan offense checked in at the top spot across the Sun Belt Conference in conference-only matches in the assists, hitting percentage and kill categories. The offense has tallied 411 kills, averaging 14.68 per set to get the league-high hitting percentage of .294. Under Stuempfig, the Trojans record 13.63 assists per set.     Â
The Trojans lead the Warhawks (4-18, 0-8 SBC) in the all-time series with an 18-4 margin. While in Monroe, Troy sits at 5-2, outscoring the Warhawks 19-8 in those matches since 2010. Â
Last year against the Warhawks, Tori Hester posted 29 kills in the two-match sweep in Trojan Arena. Brooks and Jaci Mesa led the Trojans defensively in the last match up, Brooks posted 10 blocks and Mesa recorded 22 digs over the weekend. Â

Logan Jeffus and Brynn Botkin led the Warhawks with 20 kills each against App State last week, where ULM recorded 67 kills as a team.     Â
Defensively, ULM is ranked fifth in conference-only games, recording 15.79 digs per set, as opposed to Troy, who tally 14.50 per set. Cameron Rogers ranks sixth across the league in all matches of the year. Rogers averages 4.01 digs per game.    Â
