TROY, Ala. – For the third straight weekend, Troy volleyball finds itself on the road as they get set to travel to Birmingham, Ala., to participate in the Blazer Invitational beginning Friday, Sep. 9, at 4 p.m. when they take on North Florida followed by two in-state matchups with Auburn and UAB Saturday and Sunday.
The Trojans will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak after falling to three straight Power Five teams last weekend during the Tiger Challenge.
Amara Anderson continues to inch closer toward the program assists record as she is 223 assists away from becoming the all-time leader in Troy's volleyball history.
Ten Trojans have played in all six matches, with six appearing in all 23 sets this season. Amiah Butler and Julia Brooks are the only Trojans to each have double-digit kills and blocks this season. Brooks is now seven solo blocks away from becoming one of the top three all-time in program history, needing 18 to have the most.
