Troy Women’s Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team

TROY, Ala. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its Division I women's Academic tennis awards Monday morning, which included Troy women's tennis as an ITA All-Academic Team and four Trojans named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Franziska Ahrend, Olivia Elliott, Anastasiia Khokhlova and Michelle Ncube represented the Trojans as scholar-athletes. Ncube continues to earn accolades post-graduation, receiving her degree this past May in Psychology with a 4.0 GPA.
As a unit, the Trojans posted a 3.31 GPA in the spring and a 3.52 GPA in the fall.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, individual teams must have a team GPA of at least 3.2.
