Troy Football Season Ticket Holders to Receive 1987 Mini Replica Helmet

TROY, Ala. – Troy fans who purchase or renew their football season tickets for the 2022 season by June 3 will receive a free mini replica helmet from the 1987 NCAA Division II National Championship squad as Troy celebrates the 35th anniversary of the school's third national title. The 1987 mini helmet is the first in a series that Troy Athletics will release to honor its National Championship teams.
"We're excited to once again offer our loyal season ticket holders a unique piece of Troy memorabilia for their collections," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "The 1987 National Championship team under Hall of Fame head coach Rick Rhoades holds a special place in our department's history, and this mini helmet is a great way to honor their legacy. Additionally, the home schedule brings a natural rival in Southern Miss, an old-school rival in Marshall and a marquee matchup in Army to The Vet this season."
Season ticket prices will not increase for the sixth straight season, with packages starting as low as $60 for general admission seats and $100 for reserved seats. In addition, limited North End Zone and Stadium Club seats remain, and fans can reserve their premium North End Zone Tents for specific games or purchase the entire season for the price of just five games.
Troy's home schedule features games against Army, Marshall, Southern Miss, ULM, Texas State and Alabama A&M – all six games will take place on Saturdays this fall for the second consecutive season.
Following the overwhelming support from Troy fans in the purchase of Community Hero Tickets the previous four seasons, fans will once again be able to add a Community Hero season ticket to their account for just $8 per game. These tickets will be donated to local charities, underprivileged groups and young organizations.
Monthly payment plans are available on all season ticket purchases, and Troy University faculty and staff are eligible for discounts on season tickets in reserved sections.
