GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Troy women's golf team sits in 11th place following Sunday's opening round of the Bama Beach Bash at the 6,002-yard Gulf Shores Golf Club.

Anna Claire Little is Troy's leader in the clubhouse after Sunday's opening round in a tie for 24^th place with a 5-over 77 thanks to a pair of birdies, while Alyssa Mercado is tied for 37^th place after birdies on the par-4 first and par-5 ninth.

Elizabeth Caldarelli is tied for 46^th place following a 7-over 79 that featured one birdie, Elisabeth Preus is tied for 54^th at 8-over and ShaeLee Scarberry is tied for 80^th place at 11-over; playing as an individual, Brinson Hall shot 21-over and is in 99^th place.

The three-round tournament continues Monday with 18 more holes beginning at 8 a.m.
