Troy-Samford Baseball Scheduled for Tuesday Postponed

TROY, Ala. – Troy's mid-week baseball game scheduled for Tuesday against Samford at Riddle-Pace Field has been postponed due to the threat of inclement weather in the Troy area throughout the day. No makeup date has been set at this time, however both teams are working to find a date to reschedule the contest later this spring.
Troy (11-5) is coming off a three-game sweep of Indiana this past weekend, and the Trojans are currently receiving votes in this week's NCBWA Top 30 poll. The Trojans have won five straight games and are 9-1 at Riddle-Pace Field this season heading into their Sun Belt opener against Louisiana (8-7) this weekend. The Cajuns have series victories over UC Irvine and Houston under their belts already this season.
First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Fans can purchase tickets for the series by visiting TroyTrojans.com/tickets.
