Men's Tennis Remains Unbeaten at Home

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's team returned to its winning ways Tuesday afternoon with a 5-2 victory over Middle Georgia State at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. The Trojans won five of the six singles matches after the Knights took the doubles point.
Carles Anton continued his impressive spring season with a straight-sets victory on court two, and the sophomore is now 11-2 on the year during the dual season. Troy (8-5) improved to 49-23 (.681) as a team in singles this spring as Vito Llinares and Noah Martens both moved to 9-3 in singles after wins on Tuesday.
Pelayo Antuna and Nicolas Simkin were also winners on Tuesday, with Simkin's 6-3, 6-3 win on court three clinching the match for the Trojans.
The combo of Llinares and Martens was the lone Trojan doubles tandem to pick up a win as they blanked their opponent 6-0 on court one.
Troy travels to Tallahassee on Friday to take on Florida State.
