TROY, Ala. – After downing South Alabama last Saturday, the Troy Women's Basketball squad gears up to knock out the Jaguars in round two of the in-state rivalry Saturday at the Mitchell Center.

The Trojans (17-7, 8-2 Sun Belt) look to ride the excitement from their convincing 84-52 victory last week into Mobile on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.

Storylines

The Trojans enter round two with South Alabama on a four-game win streak.
A trio of Trojans finished last Saturday's contest with a game-high 12 points (Ja'Mia Hollings, Jasmine Robinson Tina Stephens).
After UT Arlington downing Appalachian State, Troy sits tied for first place with the Mavericks. The Trojans hold the tiebreaker over UTA.
After a slow start to the season, point guard Jasmine Robinson has caught her stride. The senior has recorded three straight double figure scoring games.
The Trojans have won 23 of their last 26 Sun Belt Conference games. Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Louisiana and Little Rock are the only teams to have beat the Trojans over the past two seasons.
Despite having been outrebounded in 11 games, as per usual, the Trojans lead the nation in rebounds and offensive rebounds.
Troy is known for playing fast and playing everyone.
