Men’s Basketball Opens Class of 2023 Recruiting Class with Myles Rigsby

TROY, Ala. – Troy men's basketball opened its class of 2023 signing day with Myles Rigby from Fort Worth, Texas, head coach Scott Cross announced Monday afternoon.
"Myles is a high, high-level guard that was very under-recruited," Cross said. "I feel like he could play at any school in the entire country. He is 6-5 with great length and is very explosive. He is almost unstoppable driving to the basket and has a very good jump shot. He can also be a very disruptive defender in our defensive system."
Rigby enters his final season with O.D. Wyatt high school before joining the Trojans. In three years, he has moved up to be the No. 15-ranked player in Texas. In 2021-22, the 6-5 guard scored 24 points per game on 53 percent shooting. From deep, Rigsby can launch it with a 36 percent 3-point percentage.
The future Kinesiology major was named Most Valuable Player on his team last year. He grabbed 6.2 rebounds, dished 2.2 assists and swiped 3.9 steals in his junior season. Previously, in the fall, Rigsby is a dual sport athlete when he plays football.
