TROY, Ala. – After a three game homestand, the Troy Women's Basketball team will travel to the Peach State to take on Georgia Southern Thursday night at Hanner Fieldhouse.

The Eagles (11-6, 2-3 Sun Belt) were just one of two teams to defeat the Trojans (14-7, 5-2 Sun Belt) last season. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.

Storylines

Felmas Koranga earned her sixth career 20-point game against Arkansas State while also bringing down 10 boards, good for her eighth double-double of the season.
Against Arkansas State, Amber Leggett was Troy's second-half surge, scoring all of her 13 points in the second half.
After Troy saw a 16-game home win streak snapped Thursday against Little Rock, the Trojans rebounded and picked up a win over Arkansas State to defend home turf.
The Trojans physicality has sent them to the charity stripe for 501 attempts this season. Troy leads the nation in both attempts and free throws made with 368.
The Trojans have won 20 of their last 23 Sun Belt Conference games. Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Louisiana and Little Rock are the only teams to have beat the Trojans over the past two seasons.
Last season, the Trojans were only outrebounded or tied in rebounds four times through all 25 games. This season, Troy is 5-5 when being outrebounded.
Despite having been outrebounded in 10 games, as per usual, the Trojans lead the nation in rebounds and offensive rebounds.
