Troy Looks to Bounce Back in Game One Against the Jaguars

TROY, Ala. – After a late loss to Louisiana, 69-59, Troy looks for redemption in the first of a two-game series against South Alabama on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Mitchell Center.
The Trojans (13-6, 4-2 SBC) sit tied for third in the Sun Belt Conference with the Jaguars (14-5, 4-2 SBC), marking the best start to conference play for them since the 2009-10 season - they went on to win the regular-season title.
Bittersweet in Louisiana
Troy looks to bounce back after a 1-1 weekend in the Bayou State. Following a huge win over ULM, 73-65, the Trojans dropped their game against the Cajuns in the last 2:46 of the game.
The Trojans tied the ballgame up with 3:12 remaining before allowing the Cajuns to rip off a 12-0 run to give them the double-digit victory.
Khalyl Waters (11) and Efe Odigie (14) led the Trojans, scoring double-figures. This game marked the fifth conference game Odigie has been the teams' leading scorer.
