Troy Baseball & Softball Fan Day Set for Feb. 5

TROY, Ala. – Troy's annual Baseball and Softball Fan Day celebration will take place Saturday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. at baseball's Riddle-Pace Field. Gates open at 10:30 a.m. and kickstarts an exciting day of Troy Athletics action as the Troy women's basketball team hosts South Alabama at 4 p.m. in Trojan Arena.

In addition to free posters and schedule cards for all fans in attendance, Troy Athletics will have free hot dogs and soft drinks for fans to enjoy while supplies last. Both teams will hold intrasquad scrimmages at their respective fields following Fan Day.

Softball opens its 2022 season Feb. 11-13, hosting the Trojan Classic featuring College of Charleston, Southern Illinois and Purdue Fort Wayne. Baseball takes to the diamond a week later (Feb. 18-20) when it hosts Holy Cross.
