Troy Looks to Sweep the Bayou State on Saturday Against Louisiana

MONROE, La. – Following a 73-65 victory over ULM, Troy has a date with Louisiana on Saturday at the Cajundome with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
Troy (13-5, 4-1 SBC) is off to its best start in conference play since the 2003-04 season.
Currently sitting at first in the Sun Belt Conference, the Trojans ride a three-game winning streak heading into Louisiana.
No Rust at All
The Trojans are fresh off their first victory over the Warhawks since 2018. Despite having a week off due to COVID-19, Troy didn't lose a step, starting the game on an 8-0 run.
It was a perfect night for TK Smith, achieving a new career-high in 3-pointers made (3), blocks (2), and field goals made (4). Smith also tied his career-high in points (11) on 4-of-4 shooting.
Zay Williams returned to the court on a mission, leading the team with 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting and seven rebounds.
