Troy Aims for Three Straight on Thursday with Matchup Against ULM

TROY, Ala. – Troy looks to resume its hot streak Thursday against ULM at Fant-Ewing Coliseum at 6:30 p.m.
The Trojans (12-5, 3-1 SBC) are 8-2 in their last 10 games after defeating Appalachian State back on Saturday, Jan. 8, 68-53, for their third straight win over the Mountaineers.
Troy already has more wins than last season through just 17 games, continuing their best start since the 2003-04 season.
Piping Hot in Trojan Arena
The Trojans extend their home record to 7-1 following the victory over App State. Troy claimed the lead heading into the locker room following a 5-2 run to end the first half. The squad carried that momentum into the second, outscoring the Mountaineers 38-24 on 44.83 percent shooting.
For the fourth straight game, Efe Odigie led the team, scoring 11 points. The Trojans got everyone involved as 10-of-11 players that checked into the game scored a bucket.
Nick Stampley was truly impressive in the second half, dominating the boards (8) and playing tough defense, limiting the Mountaineers' shooting to 27.59 percent.
