Troy Women’s Hoops Primed for Pivotal Matchup with Louisiana

TROY, Ala. – The Troy Women's Basketball squad is primed for a rematch of the 2021 Sun Belt Tournament championship game as they square off against Louisiana Thursday at the Cajun Dome.

310 days ago, the Trojans and Ragin' Cajuns went toe-to-toe in the final game of the Sun Belt Tournament, where Troy downed Louisiana, 73-65, to become an automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament.

Now, the Trojans (12-5, 3-0 Sun Belt) will face the Ragin' Cajuns (9-3, 1-1 Sun Belt) in their lone decisive matchup of the 2021-22 season. Tipoff from Lafayette is set for 6 p.m.
