TROY, Ala. – The Troy Athletics Department has teamed up with the Troy men's and women's golf programs to announce the new Circle T Club that will directly support those programs.
"We are extremely excited about the creation and launch of the Circle T Club that will directly impact and benefit our men's and women's golf student-athletes and programs," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "We have such a rich tradition of success in both programs with a combined six national championships, 24 conference championships and 26 NCAA appearances. The Circle T Club will allow both programs to continue to build upon that success through the incredible generosity of our fans, alumni and letterwinners."
Through a 100 percent tax-deductible donation, supporters of Troy Golf can join the Circle T Club at various membership levels – Par, Birdie, Eagle, Hole-in-One. Contributions will support all aspects of the programs and help the Trojans achieve goals on and off the course, including nutrition, strength and conditioning, technology, equipment, participating in tournaments, and practicing at some of the best courses across the Southeast.
"We are very excited to launch the Circle T Club," men's head coach Forrest Schultz said. "Troy men's golf has a long-standing championship tradition, and this club will allow alumni and Trojan supporters an opportunity to give back to our program directly. These donations will make a major impact in helping us provide our current student-athletes with additional resources to compete at the highest level. The Circle T Club will also connect all our Trojan Golf Family in a new and personal way. The future is exciting for Troy Golf, and I look forward to connecting personally with you all."
The Troy golf programs have both a rich history and recent success to build upon. Both programs won three NCAA Division II National Championships from 1976 to 1989 and more recently have made a combined six NCAA Regional appearances since 2014.
"Troy women's golf is excited about the addition of the Circle T Club," women's head coach Randy Keck said. "The contributions will allow us to take our program to the next level of collegiate golf. In addition, it will allow us to enhance the student-athlete experience providing them with the best things collegiate golf can provide along with giving them every opportunity to be successful in collegiate athletics and beyond."
