Troy Athletics, Mural City Coffee Company Partner to Create “Trojan Blend”

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and Mural City Coffee Company have teamed up to launch a unique Troy-branded coffee blend, "Trojan Blend." The officially licensed coffee is available for purchase in person at Mural City Coffee Company in Dothan or online at OneTroyShop.com.
Mural City Coffee Company is locally owned and operated by Zach Swan and Destiny Hosmer, an alumnus of Troy University. They opened their doors in 2018 and are located in Dothan's Main Street Commercial District where they drew inspiration for their name with the city's numerous murals.
"We couldn't be more excited to partner with Zach and Destiny at Mural City Coffee Company," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "They have developed some truly amazing coffee blends and 'Trojan Blend' is no exception. This partnership is our first officially licensed product that Troy fans can consume and showcase their Trojan pride at the same time. Dothan and the Wiregrass Region are key areas for TROY, and this is another big step in expanding our brand in that market."
Every bag of specialty "Trojan Blend" coffee is roasted, packaged and shipped out fresh just for you from Downtown Dothan, Alabama. The Trojan Blend has been curated exclusively for TROY using South American coffees that combine to make a chocolatey, smooth and well-balanced cup.
"When we initially discussed the opportunity to work with TROY on the official 'Trojan Blend' coffee, there was no question in our mind that we wanted to form this partnership," Hosmer said. "We are thrilled to finally introduce this special coffee to all of you. We are so grateful for the support we've received from Troy students and alumni since we opened our business, and thanks to this collaboration, we are looking forward to meeting (and caffeinating) many more Trojans in the future."
