Troy Softball NCAA Tournament Watch Parties Set for Half Shell

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and Half Shell Oyster Bar and Grill will be holding Troy Softball Watch Parties all weekend for Trojan fans to watch Troy Softball play in the NCAA Regional. Troy's opening round game is set for 2 p.m. Friday against Clemson from Alabama's Rhoads Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to gather in Half Shell's back room to watch the game along with other Trojan fans plus Troy coaches and staff members. Half Shell will host watch parties throughout Troy's run in the Tuscaloosa Regional and a full schedule is listed below for fans to track Troy's game times each day.
Troy earned an at-large selection into the NCAA Tournament after posting a 36-15 overall record and a second place finish in the Sun Belt Conference, which received four overall selections into the NCAA Tournament.
The Trojans advanced to the semifinals of the Sun Belt Tournament this past week and recorded three wins over Power Five opponents – Ole Miss, North Carolina, Georgia Tech – their most since 2012.
