Troy Announces Football Game Themes for 2021 Season

TROY, Ala. – As excitement continues to swell for the upcoming 2021 season and the return of the pageantry of collegiate football to The Vet, Troy Athletics announced Tuesday the game themes for the Trojans' six home games this upcoming fall.
Troy will have arguably one of its best home schedules in school history with games against South Alabama, App State, Louisiana, Liberty, Georgia Southern and Southern on the docket with all six games set for Saturday kicks.
"We are literally counting down the days and hours until we can open the gates of The Vet this fall and once again have one of the best gameday atmospheres in the Sun Belt and Group of Five," Athletics Director Brent Jones said. "We want our gamedays to be a unique experience for our fans each time they come to The Vet, and we look forward to our six amazing game themes we have for this season."
Each of the six home games will feature a centralized theme in addition to other promotions to tie in each of the days at The Vet. Troy has set the attendance record at The Vet in three of the past five seasons, including leading the Sun Belt in attendance twice.

Troy vs. South Alabama (Nov. 6) – Battle for the Belt

Troy vs. Louisiana (Nov. 13) – Homecoming
Health Care Workers Appreciation Day, Special Olympics Day, Youth Cheer Clinic
Troy vs. Appalachian State (Nov. 20) – Senior Day
Prizeapalooza Give-a-Ways, Alumni Band, Season Ticket Holder and Student Appreciation Day
