Women's Golf Heads to Spring Break Shootout

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's golf team returns to action this week at the Spring Break Shootout hosted by Western Kentucky at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City, Fla.
The Trojans are looking to bounce back from a rough outing their last time out at the UNF Collegiate which broke a run of five straight top five team finishes dating back to the fall.
Head coach Randy Keck will turn back to his lineup from the first two events of the spring for the two-day, 54-hole event. Nicole Lorup, the reigning Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week, leads the Trojans with a 73.75 stroke average on the year and she has seen 19 of her 20 rounds count towards the team card.
Elizabeth Caldarelli is back in the lineup after she posted Troy's third-best score of the UNF Collegiate despite playing as an individual. Anna Claire Little (76.82), Elisabeth Preus (76.10) and ShaeLee Scarberry (75.90) will make up the rest of the Trojan lineup. Brooklyn Bostick will play as an individual for the Trojans in her third appearances of the season.
