Frederic, Mosley Selected to Perfect Game Preseason All-Sun Belt Team

TROY, Ala. – Drew Frederic and Rigsby Mosley were named to Perfect Game's Preseason All-Sun Belt Team, the website announced Thursday. Frederic was tabbed as the shortstop on the team while Mosley was selected as a utility.
Frederic, who enters his sixth year in the Troy baseball program, hit .409 during the shortened 2020 season, which was the second-best mark in the league. The senior tallied four doubles, a triple, home run and 13 RBIs to go along with a league-best 11 stolen bases on 13 attempts.
The Niceville, Fla., native ranks in the top ten among active Division I players in six different categories including games played (191), at-bats (734), runs (171), hits (226), stolen bases (71) and total bases (338).
Mosley, who saw action in left and center field last season, followed up his 2019 Sun Belt batting title by hitting .351 in 17 games in 2020. Ten of Mosley's 26 hits went for extra bases, highlighted by a grand slam in the Saturday contest at No. 1 Florida. The junior notched seven doubles, which tied for second in the Sun Belt and was the 34th-most in the country.
In addition to its all-conference honors, Perfect Game compiled a list of the Sun Belt's top draft prospects in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 drafts.
