#TBT - Carli Kayler Walk-off Advances Troy in SBC Tournament

LAFAYETTE, Louisiana- Senior Carli Kayler was the hero in game one of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament as she hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Trojans over the ULM Warhawks 3-2 in the single elimination game.

ULM held the Trojans scoreless through three innings, until junior Kaylee Hussey blasted a two-run home run, tying the game at 2-2. The Trojan defense went to work, keeping the Warhawks from crossing the plate for the remainder of the game and paving the way for Kayler to keep the season alive.

Troy will move on to face UTA on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in a double elimination format. All games will be broadcast on ESPN+. A full recap will be provided following game two of the day.
