Trojans Set for Sun Belt Indoor Championships

TROY, Ala. – The Troy track and field squad is set to compete at the Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships Monday and Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala. The Trojans are back in action for the first time since a positive outing at the Camel City Invitational on February 7^th.

Madison Kennedy has a top-three time in the conference in the 400m this season. She posted a 55.76 on February 7^th, also at the Camel City Invitational. Gemma Finch (2:08.16) and Edita Sklenska (2:13.10) have the first and second-best times in the Sun Belt, respectively, this spring.

Jasmine Riley should compete for a medal in the 60m dash. She has a top-five time in the Sun Belt this season, set at the UAB Vulcan Invitational to begin the year.

The women's relays have also had a successful season so far. Both the 4x400 and Distance Medley Relay have top league times this season, both set at the Camel City Invitational.
