LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Troy Trojans continue a three-game, seven-day Sun Belt road trip Saturday night at Louisiana. Tip-off from the Cajundome is set for 7 p.m. The Trojans wrap up the longest Sun Belt road trip of the season Monday evening at Texas State.
Â

Â
LAST TIME OUT- (Troy, 5-9, 1-2 Sun Belt).
The Trojans look to bounce back from a rough night at ULM Thursday night. After falling behind by 11 with four minutes remaining in the first half, the Trojans used a 13-0 outburst to take a two-point advantage into the locker room. In the first half, junior Ty Gordon scored 13 of Troy's 33 points, hitting five-of-six shots he attempted. In the second half, the Trojans allowed ULM to shoot nearly 60 percent from the field, as the Warhawks outscored the Trojans 48-30 over the final 20 minutes. The Warhawks enjoyed a massive advantage at the free-throw line, connecting 26-of-34 free-throw attempts, and 21-of-26 attempts in the second half. Gordon (17 points) and Tahj Small (career-high 10 points, 7 rebounds) were the only two Trojans in double-figures. Junior Darian Adams scored 7 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists, while sophomore Zay Williams added eight points. Adams saw a four-game double-figure streak snapped, while Williams failed to reach 10 points for the first time in six matchups.
LAST TIME OUT- (Louisiana, 5-9, 0-3 Sun Belt)
The Ragin' Cajuns enter Saturday's matchup looking to snap a six-game losing streak overall, and a three-game Sun Belt Conference skid. Louisiana's last victory was back on Dec. 3, when the Ragin' Cajuns dropped in-state foe Southeastern Louisiana 98-81. On Thursday night, Louisiana dropped a tough 60-57 decision against South Alabama. In that game, Jalen Johnson had a good look from deep in the waning seconds of the game, but South Alabama's John Pettway was able to block the attempt away. After trailing 28-25 at the half, the Ragin' Cajuns and Jaguars played an even second half with each side scoring 32 points. Mylik Wilson led all scorers with 17 points (5-of-9, 3-point) and 7 rebounds, while Cedric Russell contributed 12 points (4-of-13, 3-point), 6 assists and 4 rebounds. The Ragin' Cajuns struggled from deep on Thursday, hitting just 12-of-41 3-point attempts (29.3 percent). Â
