Troy to Host 2021 Sun Belt Softball Tournament

TROY, Alabama – The Troy Softball Complex will play host to the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Tournament, the league office announced Friday. It will mark the fourth time that Troy has hosted the Sun Belt Tournament and first since 2017.
"We are excited and honored to host the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in 2021," head coach Beth Mullins said. "We have an amazing facility, great fans and an athletic department that will make this event first class."
Troy is coming off a second-place finish in the Sun Belt this past season after posting a school record 19 conference wins. The Trojans' 37 overall victories were the most since 2009, and Troy's 71 wins the past two seasons are the most in consecutive seasons since winning 75 games in 2007 and 2008.
The Troy Softball Complex has previously hosted the Sun Belt Tournament in 2008, 2013 and 2017.
