The Trojans (34-16) struck first in the top of the first inning with a single up the middle by Bailey Taylor that scored Madeline Porter who led off with a double to center field.

Next Up
Troy travels to San Marcos, Texas for a three-game Sun Belt series against Texas State. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's first pitches are set for 6 p.m., 2 p.m. and 12 p.m.
Quotable- Head Coach Beth Mullins
"I was proud of the performance both Annie and Leanna gave us today. They kept us in it all game. I think we had some good at-bats but couldn't string them together back-to-back-to-back. We have got to do a better job of competing and having quality at-bat with runners on base."
