Pack Trojan Arena for Men’s Hoops Opener vs. UAB; $5 Tickets

TROY, Ala. – Troy men's basketball opens a new era Thursday, Nov. 7, when the Trojans host in-state rival UAB in Trojan Arena at 7 p.m. To help celebrate Scott Cross' first game leading the Trojans, Troy Athletics will roll out the red carpet for fans with numerous promotions surrounding the game including $5 tickets for all reserved and general admission sections.
Ticket Promotions
All reserved and general admission tickets for the game between Troy and UAB will be priced at $5. Additionally, all kids ages 12 and under will receive free admission as part of the Take a Kid to the Game for Free initiative through the NCAA.
United in Cardinal
All Troy fans are encouraged to wear Cardinal for the game and become United in Cardinal inside Trojan Arena.
In-Game Promotions
• The full Sound of the South band will be on hand in addition to the full cheerleading squad.
• There will be a football pep rally at halftime of the game in advance of their Homecoming game that Saturday against Georgia Southern; the entire football team will be recognized at halftime.
• Off to the best start in school history, the Troy volleyball team will also be recognized at the game as they prepare for home match on Friday against South Alabama.
Troy Student Promotions
• The first 500 Troy University students in attendance will receive a FREE Cardinal t-shirt.
• One lucky Troy University student will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 Adidas gift card.
• Troy SGA will award a Spirit Stick during the halftime football pep rally.
• Prior to the game, Troy SGA is hosting a Student Grilling Competition from 5-6:30 p.m. on the plaza outside the main rotunda Trojan Arena. Troy Students will be able to come by and enjoy free food during the event.
Special Guests
Troy Athletics will welcome a number a special groups to Trojan Arena for the game including Troy Boys and Girls Club, Christian Love Center, Pike County Special Olympics and Boys and Girls Clubs from Enterprise, Dothan and Montgomery.
