Trojan Madness announced for Oct. 14

TROY, Ala. – In anticipation of the start of the 2019-20 men's and women's basketball season's, Troy Athletics will host the sixth annual Trojan Madness event inside Trojan Arena.

What You Can Expect
• A pep rally featuring the Sound of the South Band, Troy University SGA, cheerleaders and T-Roy will take place as part of the event in anticipation of the nationally televised football game against South Alabama at The Vet on Wednesday, Oct. 16
• Speaking during the event will be head football coach Chip Lindsey, head men's basketball coach Scott Cross and head women's basketball coach Chanda Rigby
• Fans in attendance will be entered to win great prizes such as Troy basketball gear, t-shirts, coupons to local restaurants and several other exciting prizes from sponsors
• Fans can also win free food vouchers from our Trojan Madness sponsor, McDonald's
• The event will feature several exciting promotions including the return of the Sumo Wrestling Suits, a three-point contest, a dunk contest and so much more
Troy women's basketball will get its season started on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. when they host Fort Valley State to open the 2019-20 season. The men will be in action for the first time on Thursday Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. when they host UAB.
