Troy Hosting Pregame Tailgate & Pep Rally Party Prior to Georgia State Game

TROY, Ala. – With the "Battle for the Belt" secured, Troy turns its attention to a big Sun Belt East showdown at Georgia State on Saturday, Oct. 26, in Atlanta. Troy Athletics and the Troy Alumni Association are teaming up for a Beat Georgia State Tailgate Party and Pep Rally prior to the game for the large number of Troy fans expected at the game.
Kickoff between the Trojans and Panthers is slated for 7 p.m. (ET) from Georgia State Stadium (the old Turner Field), and the Beat Georgia State Tailgate Party and Pep Rally will run from 5-6:30 p.m. (ET).
The party will take place in the Blue Lot outside of the stadium, and fans are encouraged to enter the Blue Lot at the corner of Hank Aaron Drive SW and Fulton Street SW.
Men's basketball head coach Scott Cross, baseball head coach Mark Smartt, Director of Athletics Brent Jones will all be on hand in addition to the Troy cheerleaders, T-Roy and the Sound of the South.
A barbecue meal will be catered for the tailgate portion of the party and admission is free to Alumni Association members and $10 for non-members.
Fans still needing their tickets to the game can call the Troy ticket office at 877-878-WINS (9467) or by visiting TroyTrojans.com/tickets to ensure they sit in the Troy section.
The Troy SGA is sponsoring a bus trip to the game for Troy students. For just $50, students get a ticket to the game and the bus ride to and from Atlanta. Registration will take place in the SGA Office located in room 215 in the Trojan Center.
