GAME NOTES
TROY, Alabama – Troy puts its six-game winning streak on the line Saturday when Arkansas State comes to town for a 2 p.m. tip in Trojan Arena.
The Trojans (12-2, 3-0 SBC) are coming off an emotional 71-66 win over Little Rock on Thursday, a game that saw 18 lead changes and 11 ties. Junior point guard Kayla Robinson scored all 16 of her points in the second half, while Japonica James led all scorers with 17 points. On her birthday, Sky'Lynn Holmes added a double-double with 10 points and 18 rebounds.
Arkansas State (8-6, 3-0) defeated South Alabama in Mobile Thursday and have started league play 3-0 for the first time since 2014-15. Peyton Martin paces the squad with 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
The teams represent two of the three remaining undefeated squads in Sun Belt play. Texas State is also 3-0 and host Appalachian State.

Under 20th-year head coach Brian Boyer, Arkansas State has opened 3-0 in Sun Belt Conference play for the first time since 2015-16 and for the seventh time in its history. The Red Wolves rank first in the nation in free throws attempted and are coming off a 77-64 win at South Alabama on Thursday.
Arkansas State has assisted on 51 of their 78 field goals in conference play with averages to 65.3 percent of the time.
NOTEWORTHY
• Troy allowed zero second chance points on Thursday against Little Rock; the first occurrence since Feb. 2, 2013 against Louisiana.
