Volleyball Set for Big Orange Bash at Clemson

TROY, Ala. – Troy volleyball is hitting the road once again this weekend, as the Trojans trek to Clemson, S.C., to participate in the Big Orange Bash Friday and Saturday. Troy will meet North Dakota at 3 p.m. (CDT) Friday, then return on Saturday to face Clemson at 11:30 a.m. (CDT) and UAB at 3 p.m. (CDT).

The Trojans (4-2) head into the tournament following back-to-back runner-up finishes in the first two weekends of the 2018 season.

Freshman Amara Anderson and sophomore Cheyenne Hayes shined at the Blue Raider Bash last weekend – the two represented Troy on the all-tournament team.

Anderson recorded 156 assists on the weekend, including 64 assists in Friday's five-set win over Stetson. Hayes started the weekend hot after 21 kills in the opener, then followed with double-digit kills in the final two games of the tournament.
