TROY, Alabama – Former Troy men's basketball player Juan Davis Jr. has signed a professional contract with BC Nokia in Finland, Davis announced on Friday morning.Â

BC Nokia is located in Nokia, Finland, and plays in the Korisliiga which is the top-tier level league in Finland.Â
Â
"I'm really excited about this opportunity that I have," Davis said. "I have an opportunity to go play professional basketball and I am ready to show what I can do."
Â
The West Point, Miss., native played for the Trojans from 2016-18 after transferring from East Mississippi Community College. With the Trojans, Davis shot 38 percent from beyond the arc and averaged 6.6 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. Davis reports to Nokia, Finland on August 26.
Â
"We're all so excited for Juan and his family with the signing of his first professional contract," head coach Phil Cunningham said. "He has a unique commitment to individual improvement, and I think that work ethic will lead to a long and productive career. When he finishes playing, he can put that Criminal Justice degree to work. He is the true definition of student-athlete."
