Top Country Duo The Springs to Open Troy Tailgate Concert Series

TROY, Ala. – One of the top young country duos on the charts, The Springs, will open Troy's Tailgate Concert Series Presented by Horn Beverage and Bud Light prior to season opener against No. 22 Boise State on Sept. 1. The Enterprise, Ala., natives will play in Tailgate Terrace beginning at 2 p.m. in advance of the 5 p.m. kickoff.
The Springs reached No. 33 on the Billboard Country Album Sales chart with their latest album Old Fashioned. Led by title track "Old Fashioned", The Springs' second major release reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers South Central Chart, No. 10 on the Heatseekers Chart and No. 40 on the Independent Albums chart.
Now with back-to-back Billboard charting country albums, The Springs were the 2018 Country Music Association's Spotlight Artist and were featured as the 2017 CMA Festival Emerging Artist.
Troy enters the season opener with the nation's fourth-longest active winning streak of seven games and both teams are coming off 11-win seasons.
