Troy Athletics Announces a Nine-Stop Trojan Tour ‘18

TROY, Ala. – The sixth annual Trojan Tour presented by Guardian Credit Union is coming to a city near you this summer as Troy Athletics Director Jeremy McClain announced Thursday a nine-stop tour across the state of Alabama and into the Florida Panhandle.
"We are excited about bringing Troy Athletics to many communities that are key to our success," McClain said. "It is a great opportunity for us to share our vision for a bright future, and fellowship with our fellow Trojans."
Trojan Tour '18 kicks off with its annual Troy event but with a new twist this year as fans will be treated to a Pig Pickin' in Tailgate Terrace on Monday, May 7, at 6 p.m. In addition to enjoying a free meal with fellow Trojans, fans can mingle with Troy administrators and coaches to get the latest scoop on Troy Athletics. The Troy cheerleaders and T-Roy will also be on hand and there will fun for all ages with tailgate games and inflatables.
Troy Athletics will take over Birmingham two nights later on Wednesday, May 9, as the Troy baseball team takes on Mississippi State at the Hoover Met. From 5-6 p.m. on the first base patio, fans can take pictures with the football championship trophies in addition to enjoying some light food and beverages. Sun Belt Coach of the Year Neal Brown will address the group at 5:45 p.m. prior to first pitch between the Trojans and Bulldogs at 6 p.m. Tickets to the baseball game are required and can be purchased through the Hoover Met for just $5 or by clicking here.
Following the two kickoff events in Troy and Birmingham, Trojan Tour '18 will make stops in Dothan, Greenville, Mobile, Enterprise, Montgomery, Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach. Featured guests on the remaining Trojan Tour '18 stops will include McClain and members of the Troy football coaching staff, while other Troy coaches and administrators will vary depending on location.
Fans will be able to keep up with the tour stops on all of Troy's social media platforms – Twitter, Facebook and Instagram at @TroyAthletics. Each tour stop will also include give-a-ways, autographs and the ability to purchase season tickets for Troy's 2018 football season.
