GAME NOTES
TROY, Alabama – Troy women's basketball returns to Trojan Arena for the final two home games of the season starting with a 5 p.m. match against Louisiana on Thursday.
Troy (14-11, 9-5 Sun Belt) has won seven of its last eight games, which included a 62-55 victory over the Ragin' Cajuns on Jan. 27. In the game, Kayla Robinson scored 19 points highlighted by seven in the final quarter to keep a narrow Trojan lead intact.
Trailing 21-9 on Saturday, the Trojans scored 83 points in the final 30 minutes of play at Appalachian State en route to a 93-64 win. Amber Rivers scored a career-high 27 points and finished 6 of 9 from 3-point range.
Louisiana (13-13, 8-6) has dropped two straight after falling in an extremely low-scoring affair to UT Arlington, 38-34. ABOUT THE OPPONENT

The Cajuns loss drops them back to .500 with their record, as it now sits at 13-13 (8-6 SBC) and it knows the Cajuns down in the standings just enough to make the next four games just about must wins for a top four finish going into the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
Freshman Skyler Goodwin led the way for the Cajuns with 14 points and seven rebounds while senior Nekia Jones added seven points and five rebounds. Senior Simone Fields added another six points and five rebounds in what turned out to be the Cajuns lowest scoring game since a 39-35 loss at Little Rock on Feb. 28, 2009.
