Troy Football Press Conference (Players) - Georgia Southern Game

TROY, Ala. -- Troy opened a pivotal November with a big home win over Louisiana this past weekend to remain unbeaten in Sun Belt Conference play. Next up is another key league game with a trip to Georgia Southern this Saturday, and several Trojans met with the media on Monday to give insight into both games.
Running back B.J. Smith, quarterback Sawyer Smith, offensive lineman J.L. Gaston, safety Kyler Knudsen and safety Melvin Tyus each took turns in front of the microphone on Monday. Tyus and Knudsen both had key fourth quarter interceptions against Louisiana, B.J. Smith set a school record with his fifth straight 100-yard rushing game, Sawyer Smith threw for over 300 yards and Gaston graded out at over 90 percent in the victory.
Kickoff between the Trojans and Eagles is scheduled for 12 p.m. (CT) from Paulson Stadium in Statesboro, Ga.
