Quotable – Head Coach Bart Barnes
"We had a good game plan this morning and got off to an excellent start with a bunch of birdies early. I felt like we played a great round, and I'm extremely proud of the way we played today. We had some key late birdies that kept us right there within reach when Texas State tried to pull away a little.
"Texas State played a great round and it was a fun round of golf to watch. Competitively I'm happy with the round we shot today and with the way we competed."
