Troy Notches Two Wins On Saturday

TROY, Alabama – With the regular season coming to an end soon, Troy men's tennis picked up two key victories on Saturday to move back above .500 on the season.

The Trojans (10-9) started the day off with a 4-0 shutout of conference foe Georgia Southern (15-10). It took just three singles matches to clinch after Andre Baldo and Mustapha Belcora won 6-3 in doubles and Andy Lau and Filip Mansson won 6-2 to take the doubles point.

That performance was followed by a 5-2 win over ABAC (2-10). Only one—Hassan Ndayishimiye's 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 win—singles match needed three sets to be decided while Troy took the doubles point.

NOTEWORTHY
• Mustapha Belcora won both of his singles matchups on the day to be the only Trojan to do so.

• Andy Lau and Filip Mansson went 2-0 together in doubles play.
