TROY, Alabama – It's a rivalry week for Troy men's basketball as South Alabama comes to town for a matchup on Saturday at 4:15 p.m. There will be a video stream on ESPN3 with the call by Ali Forbes and Barry McKnight and also a radio stream on TroyTrojans.com. with Doug Amos and Jerry Miller.

The Trojans are coming off the second win of the season against a top-100 RPI team as Troy beat Georgia Southern 83-76 behind a team-high 19 points from Wesley Person.

Person was solid in both the win against Georgia Southern and the loss against Georgia State over the past weekend. In the two games, the guard had 44 points, 12 3-pointers, hit 9-11 free throws and had just one turnover in 73 minutes of play.

This will be the second meeting of the two in-state teams as the Jaguars and Trojans kicked off conference play on Jan. 2. Troy led 75-70 with two minutes to go in that one, but turnovers plagued the Trojans down the stretch in the eventual 76-75 loss.

NOTEWORTHY
• Troy currently has the second-highest scoring offense in the league at 80.3 points per game. The Trojans also have the second-best scoring margin at +7.3.

• Jeremy Hollimon's streak of double-digit scoring games came to an end on Monday night at 16 games. The guard had just eight points in the win. Of the 16 games, 15 were off the bench.

• Alex Hicks had one of the best games of his career against Georgia Southern off the bench. Hicks had nine points and 10 rebounds to fall just short of his first career double-double.
