Troy Dominates In 4-0 Win Over UT-Chattanooga

TROY, Alabama – Troy went on the road on Friday and came away with the best outing of the season in a 4-0 win over UT-Chattanooga.

It was a dominating performance for Troy (3-6) in the shutout performance. In doubles play, Pablo Moreno and Mustapha Belcora breezed for a 6-1 win while Andy Lau and Amer Bedwan picked up a 6-3 victory.

Singes play followed the same fashion as every match was either a Trojans win or unfinished. Lau won 6-0, 6-2 over Niklas Gerdes, Bedwan bested Derrick Brown 6-0, 6-1 and Moreno dispatched Nic Wilson 6-0, 6-3.

NOTEWORTHY
• The win snapped a five-game losing streak after starting the season 2-1.

• Amer Bedwan has yet to lose this season in dual play as the freshman improved to 6-0 on the year.
