Troy Looks For Four Wins In A Row Monday

TROY, Alabama – After winning a third conference game in a row, Troy will remain home for a game against Appalachian State on Monday at 7 p.m. The game will have a live video feed on ESPN3 with the call by Barry McKnight and Ali Forbes and a live radio call by Doug Amos and Jerry Miller.

The third conference win in a row was the first time that has happened since Feb. 10-17, 2011. Troy shot 48.1 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from 3-point range in the win.

It was an all-around team effort as every available player saw game action. Jordon Varnado led the team with 17 points as no player on the roster played more than 25 minutes.

It hasn't been the season the Mountaineers have expected as Appalachian State sits second-to-last in the conference at 8-17 overall and 3-11 in Sun Belt play. The last outing was an 87-74 loss against South Alabama on Saturday.
