Troy Aims To Sweep Road Trip Against ULM

MONROE, Louisiana – After a key win on Saturday, Troy will remain on the road with a matchup against ULM on Monday at 7 p.m. The game will have a live video broadcast on ULMWarhawks.com and a radio broadcast on TroyTrojans.com with Russ Schaffer and Barry McKnight on the call.

The Trojans (13-12, 5-6) played a hectic game against UL Lafayette on Saturday in a 100-88 win. Troy had two Division I records as the Trojans shot 50 free throws and converted on 40 of them.

Of those free throws, 15 came from Jordan Varnado, who had a career-high 31 points in the game. His 15-18 free throw shooting also marked two Division I records in program history.

The win against the Ragin' Cajuns was the first time the Trojans have won in the series since Feb. 2, 2013, the first win in the Cajundome since Feb. 6, 2009 and the first time scoring 100 or more in a conference game since putting up 107 against Arkansas State on Mar. 3, 2006.

It's been a tough year for ULM (7-18, 1-11) as the Warhawks have just one win in conference play and sit at the bottom of the Sun Belt standings. The Warhawks most recently lost 66-63 at home to South Alabama.

• The Trojans are the second-highest scoring team in the country at 80.7 ppg while ULM is dead last at 66.0 ppg.
