Troy To Take On Little Rock On Monday

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – Troy's trip in Arkansas will continue with a journey to Little Rock, Ark. to take on the Little Rock Trojans on Monday night. Tipoff will be at 6:30 p.m. with a live radio call on TroyTrojans.com by Barry McKnight and Russ Schaffer.
Troy (10-10, 2-4) is coming off a thrilling game against Arkansas State that saw the Trojans narrowly fall 82-80 in front of a fevered crowd. Despite leading or being tied for 37:21 in the game, Troy was sunk by two turnovers in the final minute.
It was an efficient game for Jordon Varnado and Juan Davis, Jr. Varnado led the Trojans with 18 points on 9-10 shooting from the field. He had a team-high six rebounds and a career-high seven assists in the defeat.
Davis, Jr., who started for the fourth game in a row, added 16 points on 6-7 shooting and a perfect 3-3 shooting from 3-point range. He also added five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Little Rock comes into Monday's game at 12-7 (3-3) after beating South Alabama 73-56 on Saturday night. Little Rock previously lost to Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State before snapping the two-game skid against the Jaguars.
