Troy Returns Home Against UT Arlington Saturday

TROY, Alabama – After more than a month away from home, Troy will return back to Trojan Arena to take on UT Arlington on Saturday at 4:15 p.m. There will be a live video stream on ESPN3 with Ali Forbes and Barry McKnight on the call. Jeremy Miller will have a live radio broadcast on TroyTrojans.com.

On Monday, the Trojans earned a key road win and the first Sun Belt win of the season with a 80-77 win at Georgia State. Jeremy Hollimon sank all six of his free throw attempts in the final three minutes to clinch the win.

The past two games have been an offensive explosion for Juan Davis, Jr. Davis, Jr., came off the bench against Georgia Southern to score a career-high 21 points on a career-high five 3-pointers.

That performance earned him his first career start against Georgia State, which saw the forward put up 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field. Davis, Jr., made a career-high six field goals in both games and shot a combined 9-of-11 from 3-point range.

UT Arlington will provide a stiff test for the Trojans as the Mavericks are 12-4 this season and 2-1 in the Sun Belt. UT Arlington is a perfect 6-0 on the road and notched the program's first ever win against Texas on Nov. 29 at Texas, 72-61.
