Troy Women Take On Texas State Thursday

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team returns home to face Texas State on Thursday at Trojan Arena after opening the season with three consecutive road contests to open Sun Belt Conference play. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.

The Trojans (10-4, 3-0 SBC) enter Thursday's game riding a four-game winning streak including three consecutive to open conference play; the first such occurrence since 1998-99. The team is coming off road victories over Georgia State (87-69) and Georgia Southern (89-86) over the weekend. Against Georgia Southern on Saturday, freshman Kayla Robinson scored 17 points for her third double-digit performance of the season.

Texas State (6-8, 1-2) knocked off Sun Belt newcomer Coastal Carolina to open league play but fell to Appalachian State and UTA in its last two contests. The Bobcats are 10 in the conference in scoring (56.4 ppg), but are forcing opponents into 18.4 turnovers per game.
